Glock G21SF 45 Auto (ACP) 4.61in Black Nitrite Pistol - 10+1 Rounds - The Glock G21SF pistol is trusted by countless law enforcement units, which is why this powerful, lightweight, all-climate workhorse has become standard issue. The SF model reduces the girth of the receiver on the back or "backstrap" to provide greater comfort and control, especially for shooters with smaller hands. So without too much fanfare, I started researching my first firearm with a Springfield XD. service model. But when I got to the gun store, I realized there were a lot of options. I got the OD Gen 3 G21 and fell in love but haven't bought it yet. Although my first gun (via the first signature of the three, the other two being a gen 3 G17 and G22) this old non-sf gen3 came home in black. A dry shot quickly confirmed that the tungsten guide rod made it my choice and Sig didn't offer enough or cheap at the time. After 2.5k rds it remains my favorite pistol, possibly my favorite firearm. For me it's just finished, well designed, not upgraded or scaled down other models have always been the reason I've picked up and continued with a Glock. The tungsten rod balances the light magazine load and makes my drill consistent.

For me, it doesn't get any better. In my opinion, the Glock 21 is the ultimate .45. Although it is built a little, (the same frame as a Glock 20 in 10mm), this is not necessarily a bad thing. The extra beef means you can line the whole house with ammo all day. Concealed carry doesn't need to be long, and with the right holster system you can carry it all day without feeling uncomfortable. Trust me. I have and it's not a big deal. The smaller the .45 you get, the more the gun will jump and the less accuracy and stability you will have. Any bigger and it becomes a concealed carry issue, at least for me. I plan to buy another one with my next salary. And, after 27 years of concealment, the .45 is still the best choke and the Glock is still the best pistol system I can think of. This is a worthy investment to bring protection. Hope this helps.

Just bought my second Glock 21. This is easier than carrying a gun. It weighs less than a 1911 and holds more ammo. With the right case, it can be easily hidden. This is serious food for thought. The smaller the gun, the higher the jump. This leads to control problems that can be solved with a larger gun that can dampen recoil and contribute to accuracy. Hope this helps.

My Thoughts On The Glock 21

After carrying my 21 every day for two weeks, I realized it wasn't the problem that many people would say. At 28.26 ounces it is about 11 ounces lighter than a full size 1911 and about 8 ounces lighter than a Commander. It also carries more ammo. I bought a belt holster for it and with a good belt, I've gotten to the point where I don't feel any tugging or tugging, and I don't have to jiggle my pants all day. Although it is a large gun, it is very well balanced and fills my hand well with the modular grip extension. Also, to reiterate, it's built a bit (the same frame as the 20 in 10mm), but this isn't so bad when you realize it can chew up and spit out +p bullets without a hitch.

Therefore. If you think of the 21 as a concealed carry pistol, it's not bad at all. Just get a good holster and belt. Hope this helps.

I've had my Glock 21 for 3 years, put 1,300 rounds through it with no problems. Got a tungsten guide rod assembly, a machined slide stop lever and a clip to slide over my belt in the small of my back. I have a Colt 1911 and while it is a good shooter, the Glock is my favorite. It breaks easier than a 1911. However, you have to be careful when chambering it. I caught my finger on the trigger once while putting it in the belt and probably would have blown my ass if I had chambered it. I practiced removing it and was confident in my ability to remove it quickly.

Worth every cent, never regretted the purchase but hey it's a glock so what else can be said, I love people who spend more than a 400 and while the glock beats top dollar every time this 45 is perfect And it works like it every time

You can easily hide this. I hid a carrier mine that also has a viridian laser and a +2 pierce extension. Katie Me How and Dara make beautiful holsters and stealth gear. Stealth gear is great in a holster.

I bought my Glock 21sf about a year ago and put a lot of rounds through it. I love this gun and highly recommend it! This gun does not fail or stop. It is currently my daily carry-on.

A great gun without being too much. Everything was chewed in the first session. In clearing some gen 4 after the safety check, you have to point down, pull the trigger, pull the side tab, pull the slide. The firing pin is faced and the slide needs to be repositioned. Many Glock owners are experiencing the same problem. Internal safety mechanics must be addressed. Hope it's in the manual or someone tells me. No big deal. Great gun with accuracy and reliability.

I want to show how great this weapon is. The slide mount is a mute point. Some weapons require locks, some have switches, and some have levers. It has a slightly thicker slide than other models but is a .45. The weight must absorb round. Feels a touch heavier than the 19. Trigger pull is typical for a Glock but smooth with a nice click and reset. It's a lot of fun to shoot. Big bullet, loud noise but easy to hold the target and regain my aim. Again, great gun. You will not be disappointed.
